Shipping & Return Policy

Whidbey Island Seafood Company offers to ship to all orders outside of Whidbey Island, Washington.

Dry Ice & Packaging

All orders are shipped with 10lbs of dry ice pellets that stay frozen for up to 48 hours. Dry ice is sealed in a plastic bag and wrapped in cool-shield thermal wrapping. Our distribution center receives weekly orders of dry ice - allowing us to deliver overnight on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to guarantee on-time delivery.

Timing

Orders that are placed between Thursday afternoon and Tuesday morning will be shipped Tuesday afternoon. We will not ship frozen goods on the weekend items as seafood products will thaw and spoil.

Carrier & Tracking

We use UPS and they pick up at our distribution center on Whidbey Island Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 3:00 PM PT. Once UPS scans your shipment into their system you will receive tracking information sent to the email you used at checkout.

Shipping Inside of Washington

  • Shipping is free to all Washington state residents.
  • Orders are shipped via UPS Ground on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • Orders are shipped with dry ice and cool-shield thermal wrapping.
  • Orders will arrive by the second day day by 8:00 PM.
  • Due to the rising rates of UPS, the costs of shipping material and dry ice, we have a $50 minimum order value. 

Shipping Outside of Washington

  • Shipping is free to orders greater than $250.
  • Orders are shipped via UPS 2 Day Air unless overnight is requested on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • Orders are shipped with dry ice and cool-shield thermal wrapping.
  • Due to the rising rates of UPS, the costs of shipping material and dry ice, we have a $100 minimum order value. 

Return Policy

At Whidbey Island Seafood Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. While we don't have control over the shipment once it is picked up by UPS, we are committed to resolving any issues that may arise during the delivery process.

If your order arrives damaged, lost, or doesn't arrive on time with items still frozen, please contact us immediately. We will gladly replace the spoiled products or provide a full refund to ensure your satisfaction.

We have the highest regard for our seafood products and care that you do too. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, we offer a 30-day return policy. Simply reach out to our customer support team, and we will happily replace or refund any item that didn't meet your expectations.
